Every day we rise. (Some of those days we post.)

Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you...and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
— Jer. 29:7 (ESV)

The Bayview/Hunters Point neighborhood is a socioeconomically and ethnically diverse neighborhood of 35,000 in the southeast corner of San Francisco.

It has the highest concentration of youth in the City [1]. And new housing developments that include mixed-income units mean this population will only continue to grow.

The Bayview’s rich community history sits alongside significant questions about whether new developments will benefit all.

But many members of the community--some of whom have lived here for decades, some of whom are more recent neighbors--are together committed to the common good and a hopeful future for all.

We’re glad to be part of this story.
